Autumn's Harvest: Bring on the Books!!

I love reading when it's cold outside. I'm odd like that I suppose. No? I'm not odd? I'm normal? Okay, I'll take it. I don't know what it is, but as soon as it gets slightly colder, I'm ready to curl up with a good book. Yes, I read every day, no matter the weather. Think of me like the mailwoman of reading. (Get it, rain, sleet, or snow? What? It's not funny? Whatever LOL.)

But as soon as the trees start to turn and we get a fire going, I'm ready to curl up and read a romance. I'm a fan of the sweet romances, the Nora Roberts and Susan Mallerys, when it gets colder out. I just like thinking of family, romance, reading a good book, and getting warm. What about you? What's your go to Autumn book?

If you're looking for a Go-To book that people have told me they couldn't put down, try out my latest, ENFORCER'S REDEMPTION:

Enforcer’s Redemption

Adam Jamenson has suffered through the worst loss known to man. The only reason he lives day-to-day is to ensure the safety of his Pack. As the Enforcer of the Redwood Pack, it is his job to protect all in his path, though he was unable to protect the ones he held dear. The war with the Centrals is heating up and Adam must try and grit through it in order to survive. Though the broken man inside of him may not want to…
Bay Milton is a werewolf with a past. And a secret. She’s met the Redwood’s Enforcer only once, but it left a lasting effect. Now she needs to find him or everything he had thought he lost, may be lost again.
Together, they must struggle and find a way to fight their pasts and present in order to protect their future. But the Centrals have a plan that might make their path one of loss and destruction.

  1. My most favorite book to this day to snuggle up under a blank and get lost in is Beyond Temptation by Brenda Jackson. i have re-read it several times. I love Morgan Steele. He isn't perfect but knows what he wanted and it was Lena. Awesome emotional book.

  8. It’s hard to say what exactly would be my Go-To Autumn Romance book. When I think real hard about it, I would have to say it has a sexy, strong, determined male that when it comes to love is just lost. Then there has to be a woman who is usually in need of help or needs to know what love and family is. Together they heal each other and love turns out to be their greatest gift. I also love a happy ending at this time of year, usually where the epilogue has them starting their own family to love and cherish. Oh….and definitely HOT loving too!

  9. My favorite by-the-fire books tend to be werewolf novels....for some reason, there is usually a cabin of sorts with a fire going in it at some point in time, so the woodsy effect of the story and the fire all combine to make me want to sit, nice and toasty by a fire and read :)

    Thanks!

  12. I'm a fan of historical romance, and if I can't get those, then contemporary romance with a bit of suspense or mystery. I have a comfy easy chair and a big fluffy blanket in my office, so when I get tired of working, my cat and I hunker down for some quiet reading time.

  136. Carrie, I'm not sure I have one go-to by-the-fire book... It also depends on whether I'm reading for myself or with the family. We did the entire Harry Potter series as a read-aloud, and it was some fun, exciting reading for us all!
