Holiday Gifts of Love Blog Hop

Happy Holidays! So tell me, when you think of holidays, what do you think of? For me? It's the cold outside bringing people together inside. I love reading romances around the holidays and even thinking about the cookies that we can eat together.

Yep. I said cookies. I love them. Can I have them? Nope, not this year because of the sugar content so I'm just going to have to sit back and beg you to give me ideas for cookies I can have next year! So Tell me: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COOKIE?

Justin Cooper wasn’t always the straight-laced Holiday Elementary School principal. In his youth, he broke all the rules and enjoyed being the bad Cooper brother.  One Christmas Eve night he got a little too rowdy and things changed forever. Now the consequences of that fateful night have come back in full force and the myths of Christmas might be more real than he thought.
Rina Brewer is one of Santa’s elves. Not the tiny cute little toy maker, but the sexy, petite, energy filled bombshell kind. She’s come to Holiday to aid Justin in his new role as Santa’s executive, but as soon as she sees the sexy ex-bad boy, she realizes the job may be more than she bargained for.
As they work together to make this Christmas one to remember, an old foe has come to town to make sure that his holiday is the coldest yet.
Warning: Contains a perky elf who dreams of something more, a Christmas myth who may be a baddie, and a sexy ex-bad boy who craves Christmas cookies…and a certain perky blonde.

  1. My favorite Christmas cookie is my mom's frosted sugar cookies! She is 83 now and I know mine will never taste the same as hers....they are delish!! We should all be so lucky to have tasted them!

  2. I love Peanut Butter Blossoms! And you can use whatever your favorite Hershey Kiss is for the middle.

One of my favorite Christmas Romance Books is The Untamable Rogue by Annette Blair! The story is about Ashford Blackburne Fifth Earl and he has to get married and get his willing bride pregnant before Christmas or his grandfather won’t let him inherit his money. Ash truly needs to inherit the money because his late father squandered it all away and he is taking care of his mother. After getting stood up at the alter, again, Ash and his friends go to the local pub where the owner plays a drunken Ash in a card game…his consolation prize is the pubs daughter Larkin, who he wants to get ride of. Ash has to learn to forgive…Larkin has to learn how to trust…can two completely different people find love together. This is a cute, extremely funny, romantic story with a surprise Christmas ending!

  4. Girl, if it is spelled C.O.O.K.I.E then it is my favorite...consider me the Texas female version of The Cookie Monster! However, at Christmas time, my very favorites are butter cookies or Spritz. (The rest of the year? Nutter Butters or my Nonnie's Peanut Butter cookies or my Nonnie's Butterscotch Bits or Georgia's Cowboy Cookies or.....) ;)

  150. Ooohhh i forgot about snickers doodles. We have been on several biscotti recipes and Italian sesame seed cookies lately. Going to have to make more, cause we ate them all. I also discovered making homemade crackers this year. So versatile and fun for parties.
